Robert Gronwaldt

Principal Operations Manager

R.C. (Bob) Gronwaldt, CRMA, CCSA, CFS, AIC

With more than 45 years of oil field operations, equipment inventory management and capital project auditing, Bob has spent his career  working globally with the worlds largest oil companies including Mobil, Parsons Energy and Chemical, Hunting Energy Services, and Statoil (Equinor) / China National Offshore Oil Corporation.

For the last 10 years, Bob served as Joint Interest Audit Specialist leading expenditure and revenue audits both onshore and offshore for USA of Chesapeake, Devon, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, and multiple independent oil and gas companies in Eagle Ford, Rockies, Marcellus, and GOM.

Robert started with Mobil Oil as a cost accountant at their Paulsboro NJ Refinery.  He spent 20 years with Mobil in Operations and Corporate Audit, Corporate Insurance (Claims), and Capital Projects Audit in Africa and Venezuela.

Robert’s oil field experience continued with Parsons Energy and Chemical working in Canada, Brazil, Chile, Trinidad, the UK, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan.  During this period, he performed capital project reviews of their respective project management teams specializing in construction and procurement irregularities, and FCPA violations.

Robert next entered the oil field services and OEM equipment realm for Hunting Energy Services, reducing equipment inventory shrinkage by over 20% in Canada, Scotland, Singapore, Malaysia, and UAE.  He also performed special projects involving lean manufacturing, cost accounting, project management, employee theft, and workplace violations for the CEO and COO.

Finally, Robert was a Joint Interest Audit Specialist for Statoil (Equinor), and CNOOC over the last 10 years leading expenditure and revenue audits both onshore and offshore USA of Chesapeake, Devon, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, and many other independent oil and gas companies in Eagle ford, Rockies, Marcellus, and GOM.

Chris Ellison – Owner of C2 Petroleum Consultants: A subsidiary of E2 Resources. Chris has 21 years of field measurement experience under API Standards, working for Operators in TX, LA, CO, OK, WY, ND, and WV. In 2017, he created the Measurement Audit process for the number one Energy Law Firm in Texas. In his earlier oilfield experience, he held management positions for Falcon, Croft, Nabors, and BJ Services.

Brandon Williams – Petroleum Engineer: Brandon has 17 years of progressive experience working for Hunt, Hilcorp, Dominion, Chevron, Brigham, and Statoil. Brandon has extensive experience in drilling, completion, and production equipment.

Bruce Vassuer –  Engineer: Bruce has 24 years of domestic and international experience. A 4th-class Power Engineer, he consulted with National Oil Companies in Venezuela, Ukraine, and Canada. He currently focuses on Loss Control in the Permian Basin but has worked on other shale plays in PA, MS, ND, and WY.
